Family Home Guarantee Scheme

On 1 July 2021 the Australian Government introduced the Family Home Guarantee Scheme to help single parents with dependants purchase an existing home or build a new one with as little as a 2% deposit.

The scheme is subject to eligibility requirements and limited to 10,000 places over four financial years. It provides an opportunity for eligible single parents to enter or re‑enter the property market with a smaller deposit than usual.
